Cookie Policy
Effective date: 21 July 2026 · Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how LegalDrive Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202548291K) ("LegalDrive", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on legaldrive.pro (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the Site after making a cookie choice, you consent to our use of cookies as described here, except where your browser or banner settings restrict them.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, maintain security, and understand how pages are used. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. We refer to these collectively as "cookies" in this policy where the effect is comparable.
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories:
Essential cookies are necessary for the Site to function. They include mechanisms that remember your cookie consent choice and enable basic navigation. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our banner because the Site would not operate correctly without them.
Analytics cookies, with your consent, collect aggregated information about Site usage — pages viewed, time on page, referral source, and device type. This helps us improve content and counsel intake paths. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally.
Marketing cookies, with your consent, may support measurement of advertising effectiveness if we run campaigns directing traffic to the Site. Rejecting marketing cookies does not affect Site functionality.
4. Cookie banner and consent
When you first visit the Site, a banner offers three choices:
- Accept all — enables essential, analytics, and marketing cookies.
- Reject all — enables essential cookies only; optional categories remain disabled.
- Customise — lets you toggle analytics and marketing individually before saving.
Your choice is stored in a cookie named legaldrive_consent for six months (183 days), after which the banner reappears so you can review preferences. Change your choice anytime by clearing Site cookies or contacting [email protected].
5. Cookies we may use
- legaldrive_consent (cookie) — Essential — Stores your cookie preference — 6 months
- Session cookies (server) — Essential — Security and form integrity — Session
- _ga, _gid (if analytics enabled) — Analytics — Anonymous usage statistics — Up to 24 months
- Marketing pixels (if enabled) — Marketing — Campaign measurement — Up to 6 months
The exact cookies present may change as we update the Site. This list reflects intended use as of 21 July 2026.
6. Third-party cookies
We minimise third-party cookies. Google Fonts loads typography from Google servers; Google may process IP addresses under its own privacy policy. We do not embed social media widgets that track visitors without consent. If we add maps, video, or directory embeds in future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers allow blocking or deleting cookies through settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent the consent banner from remembering your choice and require you to set preferences on each visit. Common paths include Chrome Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies, Safari Preferences → Privacy, and Firefox Settings → Privacy & Security.
Mobile device users can manage cookies through browser or operating system settings. Refer to your device manufacturer's documentation for specific steps. If you use multiple browsers or devices, you must set preferences separately on each unless they share a synced profile that includes cookie data.
Deleting cookies does not remove personal data we already hold from contact form submissions or client engagements — those records are governed by our Privacy Policy retention schedules, not browser storage alone.
8. Relationship to the PDPA
Where cookies collect personal data — for example, an IP address combined with analytics identifiers — we process that data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are deployed only after you provide consent through our banner, except where a cookie is strictly necessary for Site operation. Essential cookies that store your consent choice itself are permitted without separate consent because they are required to honour the preference you expressed.
You may withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time by selecting Reject all or Customise in the banner, clearing Site cookies, or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. For broader questions about personal data beyond cookies, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Cookie duration and refresh
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Our consent cookie (legaldrive_consent) expires after six months, at which point the banner reappears so you can confirm or change preferences. Analytics cookies, if enabled, may persist for up to twenty-four months depending on the analytics provider's configuration. We review cookie inventories periodically and remove tools that no longer serve a documented purpose.
10. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals. There is no universal standard for responding to such signals. We honour cookie choices made through our banner rather than DNT headers alone. Set preferences via Accept, Reject, or Customise for clear control.
11. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change cookie practices or applicable law. The effective date at the top indicates the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
