Terms of Use
Effective date: 21 July 2026 · Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at legaldrive.pro (the "Site") operated by LegalDrive Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202548291K) ("LegalDrive", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
2. About LegalDrive
LegalDrive Pte. Ltd. is a law practice registered in Singapore with its counsel chamber at 138 Market Street, #22-05 CapitaGreen, Singapore 048946. The Site provides general information about our legal services, team, and contact channels. It does not constitute an offer to provide legal services in any jurisdiction where we are not authorised to practise.
3. Meaning of "LegalDrive" — not driving instruction or unrelated services
The name LegalDrive refers exclusively to driving a legal matter forward through sequenced counsel stages — risk assessment, document preparation, and procedural next steps recorded on our internal case ledger. LegalDrive Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore law practice. We are not a driving school, motor vehicle training provider, cloud storage platform, software-as-a-service host, marketing agency, lead-generation service, or any business that guarantees particular legal, regulatory, or commercial outcomes.
If you reached this Site while searching for driving lessons, cloud backup, advertising services, or outcome guarantees, you have found a law firm website whose branding uses "drive" in the sense of advancing counsel work — not operating vehicles or unrelated digital products. We do not issue driving licences, store your files in the cloud, create advertising campaigns, or promise that courts, tribunals, regulators, or counterparties will decide in your favour. Misunderstanding the name does not create any obligation on our part beyond these Terms and applicable law.
All references to "drive the matter" on the Site describe our methodology for legal counsel delivery. They are not product claims, service level commitments, or warranties of result. For questions about what our counsel services include, review our Services and FAQ pages or contact us during office hours.
4. No legal advice
Content on the Site is provided for general information purposes only. It is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with qualified counsel on your specific circumstances. No solicitor-client relationship is created by browsing the Site, downloading materials, or submitting an enquiry through the contact form unless and until LegalDrive confirms engagement in writing (typically through a client agreement or engagement letter).
Legal outcomes depend on the specific facts of each matter, applicable law, and judicial or tribunal discretion. Descriptions of matter types on the Work page are illustrative and anonymised; they do not predict results in future engagements.
5. Permitted use
You may use the Site for lawful personal or internal business purposes related to evaluating or engaging our services. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations in Singapore or your jurisdiction.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, servers, or networks connected to the Site.
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Site or contact form.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the Site using automated means without our prior written consent.
- Impersonate LegalDrive, our counsel, or any other person or entity.
- Use the contact form to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or abusive communications.
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content except as permitted in Section 6.
6. Contact form and enquiries
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, you represent that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You must provide valid consent under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 by ticking the consent checkbox before submission; the checkbox is not pre-selected. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee that we will accept your matter — we reserve the right to decline engagements after conflict checks or for other professional reasons.
We aim to respond to enquiries within one business day during office hours but do not guarantee response times for all submissions. Urgent matters with imminent deadlines should be communicated by telephone during office hours.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, page layout, and design elements — is owned by LegalDrive or our licensors and protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. The LegalDrive name, LD monogram, and "The Counsel Chamber" branding are trade marks or service marks of LegalDrive Pte. Ltd.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other reproduction, modification, distribution, or public display requires our prior written consent. Stock photography used on the Site is licensed for web display only and may not be extracted or reused separately.
8. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites including courts, government agencies, and professional organisations. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, though we implement reasonable security measures.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, LegalDrive and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from Site use shall not exceed SGD 100, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LegalDrive from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or violation of any third-party rights.
12. Professional conduct
LegalDrive's counsel are subject to the Legal Profession Act, Law Society of Singapore practice rules, and professional conduct requirements. Nothing in these Terms modifies our professional obligations to clients once engagement is confirmed. These Terms govern website use only, not the terms of legal services which are set out in separate client agreements.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, without prejudice to our right to seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.
You agree that Singapore law applies to interpret these Terms even if you access the Site from outside Singapore. If you are subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your home jurisdiction that cannot be waived by contract, those laws apply only to the extent required and do not otherwise modify these Terms.
14. Electronic communications
Communications through the Site, contact form, and email are transmitted over networks we do not control. While we use reasonable measures to protect information in transit, you acknowledge that internet transmission is not completely secure. Do not submit confidential documents through the contact form before we confirm engagement and provide secure intake channels. Email sent to [email protected] is processed during office hours and may be stored on our matter management systems subject to our Privacy Policy.
15. Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep the Site available during normal business operations but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, hosting outages, security incidents, or force majeure events may temporarily limit availability. We are not liable for inability to access the Site during such periods. Critical deadlines should not rely solely on website contact forms — telephone contact during office hours is appropriate for urgent matters.
16. User content in enquiries
Information you submit through the contact form or email remains yours. By submitting an enquiry, you grant us a limited licence to use that information solely to respond, conduct conflict checks, and — if you become a client — perform legal services under a separate engagement agreement. You represent that you have authority to share any third-party information included in your enquiry. We may retain enquiry records as described in our Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to the Site and Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, our services, or Site functionality. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be highlighted on the Site where practicable.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the parties' intent.
19. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LegalDrive regarding use of the Site. They supersede prior oral or written communications on the same subject, except where a separate written client agreement governs legal services.
